I watched a collision the other day. A Very impatient transit van wanted to leave the side road they were on, so instead of waiting they tried to manoeuvre around another car, the car reversed a little bit but inevitably they received a bump to the side.
The transit van then drove off and the guy in the car must of been in shock too, he pulled over to check the damage.
It made me think of real life and how sometimes we as a collected group of individual people can crash into somebody with our own vision not realising the damage we leave.
Sometimes our vision is innocent but others take the fall;
Such as we can unintentionally lead people on, by telling them things in the moment that we may not later see true, this can blindsight people and as everyone is different, people can take this in any manner.
The road traffic accident guy as an example, he looked upset but he remained calm in that situation, some people may of reacted with more emotion.
There are some crash & go behaviours though that represent the likeness of narcissism, these are ones such as the guy in the transit van, he was on his own trip he didn’t even recognise his damage to stop and see if everyone / everything was okay.
This can represent people hurting people and not taking accountability, such as somebody telling you one thing and acting in a different manner. They may crash into you and just go. The transit van told the car it was okay for him to manoeuver when it clearly was not.
And when someone crashes into you and leaves, this can send a person into chaos, it can make a person feel, not seen, not heard, misunderstood, belittled it can also make them question themselves and believe they are not good enough. But if somebody hurts you and doesn’t take accountability this is not a representation of your behaviour only theirs. Seeing someone hurt you, especially if you have known this person for a long time can be heart wrenching, more so if it is a new behaviour, it makes you feel like you misunderstood who that person was. It makes you question your own self-wisdom and question your own intuition and knowledge. But again, this is not your fault, you can not determine who a person will be after 6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months or even 6 years. People switch up for their own needs.
I just hope that they have the decency to express accountability on their departure;
Being left with no understanding or accountability on what went wrong and just words such as ‘I just need some time on my own’, ‘you deserve better’, ‘its not you, its me’, ‘you are a beautiful person and you deserve the world’, makes you question yourself and what you did wrong. When really maybe on the other side they have found somebody else or another diversion, but if they said look, I met someone else, the door would be instantly closed, instead because they can’t take the accountability they lie and this makes you question yourself instead.
Again, it is not you, please just read between the lines. God has heard conversations you haven’t heard, take that as your cue to wish them well and move on. Thankyou for your time 😊, and as my bestie always says, what is meant for you won’t ever pass you by.
Personally, I have had so many people crash & go. It is bewildering how people are so unstable to pour their heart and energy out to be diverted to something else so quickly. Within hours people’s behaviours can change;
My worst crash & go was somebody telling me that they didn’t see themselves marrying anybody else or having children with anybody else, 6 months later pregnant and a year later married. Another one was a guy telling me it as only me, then asking me to buy him a bracelet so he could give it to another girl, oh and on our first date. Another being if i’m not with you I don’t want to be with anybody else, take a guess, with somebody else 😊. It’s not you it’s me i’m not ready for anything, three weeks later in a relationship 😊. I have had ex’s asking me for £20, I asked him to ask his girlfriend… I could go on :’)
I don’t understand it and I never have, be real, express your long-term or short-term intentions. People are okay with seasonal relationships, they happen. What people aren’t okay with is people expressing something and actioning something else.
Crash & go. The transit and car where both with minimal damage and it won’t take long to recover but it could have been worse… As an update i did see the transit van and reported them to the site-manager as well as taking the registration plate if anyone needed it 🙂
What he should of really done is pulled over with the other guy to ensure there was no damage, instead he left the other guy to manoeuvre it on his own, he could of felt or been dealing with anything that day.
Thankyou for reading, all my love Dx
