Hey, and welcome to an event page for Lancashire and parts of the UK. Our events and outreach programs are designed as a safe space so that you can overcome mental health conditions such as social anxiety, as well as engaging in meaningful connections and communications with other individuals.
Within these events are Safe Spaces collaborating with SAPUK, these are at specific places within Lancashire with others opening soon, what we are providing here is a space where you can create a safety plan, suicidal thoughts reduction information, advocacy support, you are able to engage with coaching information or buddying programs within SAPUK also. It is also a Safe Space for you to speak about your current thoughts, all facilitators are experienced and trained appropriately, including Suicidology, MHFA and level 4/5 accreditations, all facilitators are enhanced DBS checked.
The Safe Spaces that are currently provided across Lancashire are Longridge Civic Hall, please note this environment can be quite occupied, but everyone is friendly. Here we engage with the opportunity of having a variety of market stalls from local producers. Including fresh fruit & veg, there are also outdoor grounds available for a quieter space if and when needed, or enjoy a sit down and have a coffee.
Darwen, we collaborate with Urban Seed, this is on Unit 2, Hacking Street, a Hippie, house plant and alternative shop, its amazing. This will be provided once a month on an evening, it gives us a tranquil environment with the opportunity to enhance our spiritual and internal values for self-guidance.
The walk & talks will have a meeting point of Longridge Civic Hall, maybe one hour / one hour and a half (distance dependant) – this will be for car sharing opportunities, (please if you could opt to drive this would be helpful, please contact me @ danielle@suicideapuk.co.uk.
